This site was known as "Cloudcroft Journal" for a while, but since we've moved out to Sixteen Springs, I've felt a little more removed from Cloudroft itself, and more invested in this valley. The pandemic hit, so we were forced to remove our kids a little and this has taken up our time, but I will now use this site to talk about our experiences here (both in the canyon and in Cloudcroft) and use the other one, here to talk more about the village itself. I had originally intended, or at least wanted, to make that one into a kind of media hub. At this point, I doubt that will happen. But this one will be more personal, more out-in-the-canyon.
